What a great hotel in a great location. It provided us with a little bit of luxury. The room was very large and well appointed with the largest extremely comfy bed I have came across in any hotel. Service is understated and efficient with the staff being friendly and helpful.

Location is great. Right in the edge of the old town and close to marina and beach, although can get noisy.

We really did enjoy our stay and look forward to returning in the next few months. Book this hotel. You won't regret it.

I have just returned from my second trip to Alicante and this wonderful hotel. It is absolutely beautiful and very luxurious in its decor. My room was spacious, clean and the roof top sunbathing area is stunning with the view of the castle. We had a bed and breakfast rate and the spread at breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. I hope to return again and again. Emma Cameron August 2009

For my first visit to Alicante, I went with the TripAdvisor reviews and chose this wonderful hotel. I am pleased that I did. I had been very attracted by the roof top pool, although, in the end, I didn't find the time to use it. The staff at the Amerigo were very helpful and welcoming. My room was spacious and very clean. It was a bit strange having the bathroom sink a bit "open plan" when entering the room, but I soon got used to it. My only complaint about the room was the difficulty I had working the door key. More than once I had to go in search of a maid to help me break into my room! This may just be me though, as I don't recall seeing any other comments about it. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and the service, friendly. Alicante is a beautiful city and I will return there and to the Amerigo soon. I will also seek to try other hotels in this hotel group. I am impressed with their approach.

Excellent location, good room, helpful and friendly staff, cool (air con was so welcome) great lunch time tapas menu, quiet (don't understand previous reviews re: noise as there is triple glazing). Perfect relaxing stay.

I want to thank you and your staff , to have done about everthing to make my stay at Christmas time in your lovely hotel , as agreeable as possible. Your sympathy and that of the staff , by my desolution , were grand . I had great comfort looking at the lovely flowers , and meeting with the most kind persons of your staff .

Thanks to all the staff at the Amerigo for our stay at your hotel. We had a lovely time and were made to feel so welcome by everyone that worked at the hotel. We would certainly recommend the hotel to friends and family and we enjoyed Alicante with all its wonderful restaurants and tapas bars. Hope to see you in the future

We have just returned from our third visit to your hotel and would like to pass on our thanks to all your staff for making our stay again so very, very good. The reception staff are the most kind and helpful staff we have ever encountered.
As usual our room was excellent so our compliments go also to the cleaning staff who do such a wonderful job.
I would like to say a special thank you to Giuseppe for his help with our trip to the Palau de la Mar in Valencia.
My husband and I do not usually visit the same hotel more than once but because we love your hotel so much we will hopefully continue to visit as aften as possible.

Thank you once again for making our 40th wedding anniversary so wonderful.

We stayed at your hotel in Valencia too. We absolutely loved both hotels. The style/feel/decor etc. All really fantastic.

We did not eat in your restaurant but had a lovely lunch in your tapas bar. The staff were excellent. We had drinks in the bar when we came back from dinner and the barman was really good. Little tricky as I think he has to cover both areas - but he was first class.

I'm really pleased we have discovered you! Shame you dont have a hotel in Barcelona.

We look forward to staying with you again soon.

I just want to thank you for the kind and warm welcome I received on my arrival at Amerigo on the 16th September 2007. Furthermore I wish to say thank you for letting me have the same room I had two years ago.

We just returned from one week holiday in your AMERIGO hotel. We had a marvoulous stay!
The rooms/bathrooms are excellent. We will recomend this hotel to everybody who wants to visit Allicante.
We are sure that if we ever come back to allicante we will visit AMERIGo again!

We are having a wonderful time at Amerigo. The hotel is really beautiful and very comfortable. And the guests are getting a high level quality service.
We love the very sober and tasteful decoration of both the lobby and the rooms. I could almost visit all the ameniities (Senzone restaurant, the 4th floor pool, spa and fitness, breakfast restaurant, the lounge behind the lobby reception).
Breakfast was also a great experience.

Extremely stylish,sophisticated designer hotel. Excellant location close to both the beach and city amenities. Staff both friendly and efficient. We travelled as a family and though the hotel had mostly couples staying our child was made very welcome. The food served was of the highest standards. There was very little that I could fault in this hotel. I feel its market is aimed mainly for professional couples wishing to escape to a sancuatry of calm and the stresses of everyday life.
It well deserves it's 5star status and I would happily make a return visit.
