Monastrell Restaurant
The Monastrell Restaurant is situated in the centre of Alicante, on Rafael Altamira street, close to the City Hall, at the entrance of the hotel Hospes Amérigo. Original space with bright space and decoration and minimalistic arquitecture. Monastrell food can be enjoyed at the Retaurant itself or in its quiet terrace.
Chef Mª José San Román defines herself as a selftaught entrepreneur, being one of forefront Alicante chefs. Her proposal, with a special sensibility for innotavion, is based on its Mediterranean roots and local products. Saffron is her star product. That's why she is known as the "Saffron Queen".
The Restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner.
