Discover Averroes

Since 2011 and every year, the Hospes Palacio del Bailio hosts the Averroes Forum.A cultural event based on the life and legacy of Averroes, the Cordoban scholar. The Ex Minister Manuel Pimentel Siles acts as the President of the event. The conferences are aimed at presenting relevant content each year in order to focus on Córdoba’s past and present as well as on the philosopher's worldwide legacy and heritage.

An unforgettable experience through which guests can delight in the traditions, history and cuisine of the city of Córdoba, the event gives the perspective of the Andalusian scholar. An opportunity to understand and share the work of the great Averroes, among other philosophers, in order to build a bridge between classical Greek culture and European culture.
