Seasonal cuisine once again takes center stage at Restaurante y Terraza Los Patos, one of Granada’s most distinctive gastronomic destinations. With the launch of its new menu, the restaurant begins a new chapter defined by creativity, respect for premium ingredients, and a contemporary interpretation of culinary tradition.

Leading this proposal is Chef Pilar Romeral, whose culinary vision combines classical technique, deep respect for ingredients, and a refined contemporary aesthetic that transforms each dish into a balanced and elegant dining experience.

Contemporary Cuisine Rooted in Exceptional Ingredients

Pilar Romeral’s cooking is grounded in a strong foundation of classical techniques—particularly in the precise treatment and preparation of ingredients—reimagined through modern presentation and creative nuances. The result is a culinary approach that preserves the authentic flavor of each ingredient while elevating it through technical precision.

Her connection to gastronomy began at an early age. Coming from a family of renowned pastry chefs, Romeral grew up surrounded by aromas and flavors that awakened her culinary curiosity. Over time, this passion evolved toward savory cuisine, allowing her to develop a distinctive style defined by creativity, diverse influences, and a firm commitment to locally sourced ingredients.

Now returning to Hospes, she leads the kitchen at Los Patos with the aim of offering a contemporary gastronomic experience that blends tradition, elegance, and sustainability.

Two Tasting Menus to Discover the Season

The new menu is structured around two tasting experiences, designed as a journey through seasonal flavors and carefully selected ingredients.

The six-course tasting menu begins with a gilda served over roasted pepper salad, accompanied by a red prawn croquette. From there, the experience continues with fresh and original creations such as Russian salad with mussels and wakame.

One of the most distinctive dishes is the Iberian ham ramen with baby broad beans, pak choi, and low-temperature egg, a creation that blends international influences with one of Spain’s most iconic ingredients.

The main courses highlight the quality of the ingredients with dishes such as turbot with hollandaise sauce, cherry tomatoes and snow peas, and duck magret with chestnut purée and confit pearl onions, offering depth and seasonal character.

The sweet finale arrives with a passion fruit and raspberry tiramisu, a fresh and aromatic dessert that brings lightness to the end of the experience.

For guests wishing to further explore the menu, the restaurant also offers an eight-course tasting menu, which includes additional creations such as artichoke stuffed with porcini mushrooms and nut velouté, as well as octopus with potatoes, smoked paprika from La Vera, and Padrón peppers, a refined interpretation of a beloved Spanish classic.

Both menus can be complemented with a carefully curated wine pairing, designed to enhance the flavors and nuances of each dish.

Executive Lunch Menu During the Week

From Monday to Friday at lunchtime, Restaurante Los Patos also offers an executive menu, designed for guests who wish to enjoy high-quality cuisine in a more agile and balanced format.

This option is ideal for business lunches or for those who wish to discover the restaurant’s culinary approach in a more informal yet equally refined experience.

Brunch and Afternoon Tea: Experiences for Every Moment

The dining experience at Los Patos is further complemented by two additional offerings designed for different moments of the day.

The weekend brunch combines sweet and savory creations made with carefully selected ingredients, served in a relaxed setting that invites guests to enjoy a leisurely morning.

Meanwhile, the afternoon tea offers an elegant mid-afternoon pause, featuring a curated selection of teas accompanied by artisanal pastries and delicate savory bites—an experience that blends tradition with sophistication.

Gastronomy in an Iconic Setting in Granada

With this new seasonal menu, Restaurante Los Patos reinforces its commitment to contemporary cuisine built on outstanding ingredients, refined technique, and creative expression. Under the culinary direction of Chef Pilar Romeral, the restaurant continues to evolve, offering versatile gastronomic experiences designed to make every visit memorable in the heart of Granada.
