Alicante | Hospes Amérigo

Discover the historical side of Alicante
City and beach
Hotel Hospes Amérigo is located very near the two most emblematic historical buildings in Alicante: City Hall and the Co-cathedral of St. Nicholas.
However, if you prefer to feel the sea breeze while you relax on the sand, we recommend El Postiguet Beach, located very close to the hotel, as well as these other points of interest: La Albufereta, Urbanova, Cocó, San Juan, the island of Tabarca, Santa Bárbara Castle, the Santa Cruz district, the Museum of Fine Arts and the seafront promenade.

Nearby attractions
We are located a short distance away from the port, the city’s liveliest and most popular streets and the most important shops. We recommend that you go for a walk to ‘El Barrio’, the old town of Alicante, one of the bustling nightlife areas in the city. Other must-see places in Alicante include the boulevard of Explanada de Spain, the districts of Santa Cruz and San Roque, the old town, the Carbonell building, Panteón de Quijano Gardens, the Bullfighting Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts among others.

Flavour of Alicante
Alicante, the cradle of the Mediterranean diet, includes in its cuisine delicious and imaginative rice dishes, a large variety of fish and seafood, recipes made with fresh vegetables and the delicious coca amb tonyina (tuna pasty). However, we cannot talk about local food delights in Alicante without mentioning its famous turrones (nougat) and ice creams.
Hospes Amérigo will surprise you with an attractive culinary selection in different dining spaces throughout the hotel.
