Parks and gardens to visit in Salamanca

By | 30 November, 2016 | 0 comments

If the sun gets too much, relax in the cities historical or leisure parks where there is shade, lots of trees, history and games.

Walk along the river, play in La Aldehuela, relax in the Jesuitas park, visit the Dry Forest Olmos, walk or sit in the Orchard of Calixto and Melibea, in the Campo de San Francisco, La Merced…

Reading a good book under a willow, sports in Salas Bajas, watch the ducks in the Alamedilla or cool off in one of the fountains in the Otea Huerta.

If you like sports you can rent a bike and ride on the cycle paths next to Fluvial Park.

Another way to enjoy the city at any time of year.

You can choose among all these in Salamanca:

  • Campo de San Francisco
  • Plaza de la Merced
  • Vaguada de la Palma
  • Huerto de Calixto y Melibea
  • Parque Fluvial
  • Bosque de Olmos Secos
  • Plaza de Anaya
  • Parque La Alamedilla
  • Parque Huerta de los Jesuítas
  • Parque de la Aldehuela
  • Parque Würzburg
  • Salas Bajas
