the winning blogguers of the prize “HOSPES PALACIO DE ARENALES & SPA to the best TAPA CACEREÑA” received their prizes and make perfomances in a SHOW COOKING

The three winner blogguers of the “Prize Hospes Palacio de Arenales & Spa” to the best tapa cacereña have collected their prize this morning at the Hospes Palacio de Arenales Hotel (Cáceres). With this award the hotel has wanted to join the celebration of the gastronomic capital in Cáceres, hand in hand with the Extremadura Academy of Gastronomy, Cáceres Capital of Gastronomy 2015 and the Jerte Cherry Denomination of Origin.

Jorge Sánchez Mosquete, from the blog www.mosgourmet.net, has received from the hand of the Cáceres mayoress, Elena Nevado, to the “Gold Cherry” with his “Picota cherry gastrique with Ibores parmentier and veal chips”; the vicepresident of the Extremadura Academy of Gastronomy, Evaristo Ramos, delivered to Margarita Rodríguez Núñez, of www.acibecheria.blogspot.com.es, “Silver Cherry” for her “Potato cherry”; and  Paula M. Durán Ros, of www.conlaszarpasenlamasa.es, with her  “Samosa from Extremadura filled with Iberian secreto, torta del Casar and Jerte cherries accompanied with confit juice of cherries” received “Bronze Cherry” from the hand of Alfonso Jordán, Assistant to the President of Hospes Hotels.

In addition, the three winners cooked in a show cooking the three winning caps along with Jorge Galán, chef of the Las Corchuelas Restaurant.

The prestigious chef from Extremadura, José Pizarro, the most famous Spanish chef in London, where he has two open restaurants, has been part of the jury for the selection of the best tapas. A member of the Extremeña Gastronomy Academy, one of the Jerte Cherry Designation of Origin, the Chef of the Las Corchuelas Restaurant, a representative of the Hospes Hotels Infinite Places Hotel Chain, a gastronomic critic have also been part of the jury. of the Cope Chain and a gastronomic journalist from the Extremadura newspaper.

PrIZES

The first prize, “Gold Cherry”, has consisted of a commemorative trophy; a weekend with bed and breakfast at Hospes Palacio de Arenales & Spa ***** with Balinese massage and hydrothermal circuit; “The book of tapas” by Inés Ortega; and a lot with products made with pillory from Jerte. Likewise, the winning tapa will be included in the restaurant menu of the Hotel Hospes Palacio de Arenales “Las Corchuelas” for a month.

The second and third prize, “Silver Cherry” and “Bronze Cherry”, is a commemorative trophy and a weekend with bed and breakfast at the Hospes Palacio de Arenales & Spa *****, as well as a lot with products made with jewish pillory.
