History, tradition and gastronomy meet perfectly well at FincaDuernas, an emblematic olive grove with its ownmill that has belonged to the same family for over 200 years. Four generations that have offered authentic experiences around the main ingredient of the World Heritage’s Mediterranean Diet.
Visitors will learn about the richness of our environment walking along a forest of organic olive trees. We will show the process of milling and tasting the best olive juice that Nature produces.
The itinerary includes:
- Introduction of Cordoba as the origin of olive oil in Spain (Chapel of the Holy Cross, in the heart of the Estate)
- Walk through the centenary olive grove of different varieties.
- Visit to the oil mill and cave.
- Tasting internationally awarded oils
- Our typical regional breakfast “desayuno molinero”
Duration: The visit takes approximately 2 hours and a half.
