Chef of the Hospes Puerta de Alcalá wins Isla Bonita Gastronomic Journeys

On June 9, the ARC Eurobanan group celebrated the Second Isla Bonita Gastronomic Days. To the event, which was held in Welow restaurant, attended by media, authorities and special guests, including Alejandra Polacci, General Director of Madrid Excelente, Bernardo Muñoz, Commercial Economic Counselor of Perú’s Embassy, Raquel Revuelta, Ramón Rey, Director of the International Department and Marketing of ARC Eurobanan, event organizers and Ángela Valarep, President of the Latin business people, among others

The jury was formed by well-known gastronomic journalistso Ana Marcos Paz Ivison and Paz Romanillos, the EUROBANAN direction, Alejandra Polacci and the Chef Miguel Zurita,in representation of the Welow restaurant.

THE CHEFS OF THE BEST RESTAURANTS OF MADRID GAVE AN APPOINTMENT AT THIS EVENT

Miguel Zurita Fernández, Chief Executive of the restaurant Welow, who worked as Head Chef at the Estado Puro Shanghai Restaurant by Paco Roncero, was the host who hosted the contestants of this contest in his kitchen.

Among them were Miguel Ángel Román from Restaurante Caray, César Ruiz from Restaurante José Luis, Miguel Ángel Valdivieso from Tampu restaurant and La Cevicuchería, Domingo Arco from Paradis Madrid, Luis Barrios from Chincha Internacional restaurant, Samuel Pascual from Restaurante Aire, Rubén González from Independence Restaurant of Hospes Puerta de Alcalá Hotel, Abraham García de Viridiana, Alfonso Perales of Casa Carolo, Alfonso Sánz de Ambigu, Francisco Javier de Franceschos and Alfonso Sánchez de Deboinair, Luis de Arévalo of Restaurante Kena and Jorge González of the Hotel Ritz of Madrid participated in the contest.

RUBÉN GONZÁLEZ, CHEF OF HOTEL HOSPES PUERTA DE ALCALÁ WINS THE II EDITION OF THE GASTRONOMIC DAYS ISLA BONITA

After the deliberation of the jury, finally the winners of the prizes of the II Gastronomic Days Isla Bonita were Rubén González of the Independance Restaurant of the Hotel Hospes Puerta de Alcalá who received the first prize, César Ruiz from the José Luis Restaurant to whom the second prize was awarded and Luis Barrios from the Restaurante Chincha Internacional, representing Peruvian cuisine, the third prize.
