This summer, the Mediterranean adds a new way to be enjoyed.
Hospes Maricel & Spa welcomes Oysters Menorca, which arrives at its iconic Pool Club with a fresh, sophisticated gastronomic proposal deeply linked to the sea. A concept designed to extend hours by the water, between sunbathing, glasses of champagne, and an informal cuisine that celebrates the product with character and personality.
The menu invites you to start with a selection of oysters, caviar, and small bites to share: gildas, anchovies in vinegar, Cantabrian anchovies, Santa Catalina olives, smoked salmon, smoked eel or bread with smoked butter. Direct, salty, and elegant flavors that find their best setting on the horizon of Palma Bay.
The experience continues with dishes designed to be enjoyed leisurely: salmon tartar, bluefin tuna tartar, shrimp carpaccio, lobster sashimi, blinis with caviar, or a suggestive selection of prawn and king crab brioche. Informal and surprising proposals are also included, such as red shrimp croquettes, nugget with caviar, fries with anchovy and caviar sauce, and crispy chicken mini burger with caviar.
The sea naturally plays a leading role. Prawns, shrimp, razor clams, king crab leg, and a spectacular tower of seafood complete a menu designed for sharing, toasting, and surrendering to the slow pace of summer. As a final touch, desserts with their own identity, from Mahón cheesecake to ice cream with caviar.
Starting in August, the dinner service at Oysters Menorca will also be open to external customers, turning Maricel’s Pool Club into one of the new gastronomic destinations for Mallorcan evenings: tables by the sea, golden light, music, champagne, and cuisine designed to enjoy the Mediterranean from a hedonistic and contemporary perspective.
This new proposal will coexist with Restaurante Maricel, which will continue to offer its renowned Mediterranean cuisine, based on product, season, and the essence of the island. Two different experiences, the same setting, and a unique way of understanding gastronomy by the sea.
