Valencia| Gastronomic September in Hospes Palau de la Mar

In the Ampar Restaurant we have prepared an attractive gastronomic EXPERIENCE SO THAT YOU MAY enjoy Valencia at this time of year, when the warm Mediterranean climate invites you to enjoy a variety of experiences with friends or family.

We start with a musical evening on September 13th, where, during the dinner we can enjoy the performance of the duo “Summer Samba” with Aida do Nascimento and Franc Oltra, Voice and Guitar. For the evening, the proposal of our Chef Carlos Julián begins with an amuse-bouche of Iberian bacon cooked at low temperature with Denia prawn.  For the main dish, we offer two alternative dishes: cod with “arriero” garlic and toasted chaplain flakes or beef rib cooked at low temperature – 800 gr. To close this gastronomic trip, we conclude with Ampar chocolate 4.0 trompe-lóeil.

The Musical Evening Menu has a price of 29€ per person, drinks not included.

Valencia Restaurante

On September 20th, Valencia is celebrating the “World Paella Day”, and in Ampar we want to celebrate it throughout the week by offering a tribute to a key ingredient of Spanish traditional cuisine: rice, from Monday 16th to Friday 20th.

The Menu comprises five rice dishes to choose from and a fideuá, but before this, starters will shared at the center of the table: Valencian tomato salad with tuna belly and oxtail croquettes with trumpets. Of course, the menu also includes dessert: Pumpkin French toast, “arnadí” cake and nut milk with liquorice ice cream.  The price of the menu is 25€ per person, drinks not included.

On Thursday 26th, we offer a high-level dinner experience of Wine Tasting & Wine Diner Pairing with international wines. The plates and wines included are:

Chef´s appetizer – Champagne Taittinger Brut Reserve

Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Meunier – A.O.C. Champagne (France)

Grooved carpet Shell with citrus and yogurt – Schmitges Steilhang Herrenberg Spatlesse

Riesling – Mosela (Germany)

Salmon tartare with aloe vera caviar- Domaine E. Guigal Crôzes Hermitage Blanc

Marsanne, Roussanne – A.O.C. Crôzes-Hermitage (France)

Lamb shoulder cooked 36 hours in its juice – Yvon Mau Premius

Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot – A.O.C. Bordeaux (France)

Ampar chocolate 4.0 trompe-l’œil – Mouton Cadet Réserve  

Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon – A.O.C. Saint-Émilion (France)

This experience has a cost of 44€ per person, drinks not included.
