Javier Moreno, Chef of Kitchen Restaurant Arbequina – Hospes Palacio del Bailío, is the Winner of the Córdoba Provincial Competition, 4th Edition Porsche Panamera Gourmet 2016.

Concluded the tasting phase in the 20 participating restaurants, selected for the IV Edition Porsche Panamera Gourmet 2016, it is time for the celebration of the provincial awards, where the finalist is chosen in each province, after the validation of the judges formed by professionals of the gastronomic area.

This phase started with the celebration of the provincial contest of Seville the Monday 24, the day 26 in Cádiz and Wednesday 2 of November has placed in Córdoba, where at the same time, conduction test of different Porsche model has been made, where all the diners have tasted the Porsche dish during the first phase of the Córdoba restaurants: Almudaina, Arbequina, El Churrasco, El Envero y Tellus. At the same time, it have participated VIP clients of the Brand and promoters: Bodegas Habla, Estrella Galicia, Quesos Manzer, Cadena Barceló, Hotel Las Casas de la Judería de Córdoba, Joyería Abrines and Costco.

During this morning, the Wednesday 2 of november in the Hotel Las Casas de la Judería de Córdoba, there was a live debate in front of judges formed by professionals of the gastronomic area like Miquel Balcells big cooker in Barcelona, Javier Velázquez Washington member of the Andalusian Academy of Gastronomy, Rosa Vañó Vicepresident of the Andalusian Academy of Gastronomy, Maica Rivera: Journalist and recognized Blogger and David de Castro: recognized Sommelier.

This was a disputed high cuisine contest, in which the jury has valued in each dish the intensity and explosion of flavor in a single bite, which had to transmit power, control, speed, smoothness.

After cooking and tasting the dishes in front of the judges, and after a long wait for the final decision, the 5 finalists of Córdoba and all the sponsors and press that assisted the ceremony, the winner has been out to the Arbequina Restaurant for the recipe of pincho of Hake and cocotxa, torreznos paprika-lemon, Iberian cream and sea plankton.

The Arbequina Restaurant will compete again the for Porsche dish in the final Price, the 22 of November in Seville along with the rest of the winners of other provinces of Sevilla, Cádiz and Huelva.
