On Friday, June 30th, at the Ampar Restaurant located in the Hospes Palau de la Mar Hotel, an incredible Gastronomic Menu Paired with Wines from Carril Cruzado Winery will be offered during both lunch and dinner services. The restaurant is situated within the unique setting of a 19th-century mansion, which adds to the dining experience. Attendees will have the pleasure of enjoying a fantastic selection by Chef Carlos Julián, featuring delightful dishes from the Summer Menu, prepared using high-quality ingredients sourced from the market. Accompanying the menu, the excellent wines from Carril Cruzado Winery will be tasted and paired. The winery, located in Villagarcía del Llano (Cuenca) and belonging to the Manchuela Designation of Origin (D.O.), is internationally recognized. All wines have been carefully selected by the hotel’s Maître, Mamen Marín, and the winemaker from the winery.

The culinary experience begins with a delightful appetizer, Anchovy with tomato water and cristal bread, followed by the starter, Vichyssoise with slow-cooked egg and crispy leek (Paired with Carril Cruzado Colección 2022 – D.O. Manchuela | Sauvignon Blanc). As the main course, guests will savor the Hake with romesco sauce and Brazil nut foam (Paired with Carril Cruzado Colección 2022 – D.O. Manchuela | Petit Verdot), and to conclude the meal, a luscious dessert of Dark Chocolate Brownie with bourbon vanilla ice cream (Paired with Carril Cruzado Selección 9 meses en Barrica 2020 – D.O. Manchuela | Syrah). Throughout the menu, water and soft drinks will also be served, and the experience will conclude with a selection of coffees and infusions.
