This year Valencia hosts national and international prestigious chefs at the Valencia Culinary Meeting

Memory and the environment as ingredients in the kitchen. The 2nd edition of the independent international festival Valencia Culinary Meeting (VCM18) proposes from February 25 to March 3 a cooking experience based on memory and the environment, having as an initiative to make Valencia a reference as a gastronomic destination and claiming that “it is time for gastronomy to return to its essence, to a naked kitchen that looks more at the garden than at the laboratory, that knows that the excitement at the table has much more to do with the heart and with the pantry, with the earth, the vegetables, the herbs, the flowers and the vegetables, the sea and the mountain ».

For this, nine Valencian chefs have invited nine other national and international chefs with whom they will prepare four-handed menus and offer free meetings.

La Cocina de Carlos Julián en OtoñoOur Chef, Carlos Julián the Ampar Restaurant of Hospes Palau de la Mar has invited Javier Moreno del Arberquina Restaurant of Hospes Palacio del Bailío, whose menu is based on the traditional cuisine of Cordoba, to offer a unique experience from March 1 to 3 mixing flavors of both cuisines.

On the occasion of the event, the Ampar de Hospes Restaurant Palau de la Mar will offer a 4 Hands Special Menu on March 1, 2 and 3. A gastronomic proposal that arises from the friendship between the two chefs who meet to share the kitchen. The result will be an exclusive menu with four hands, at the height of all the challenges that can be tasted in the Ampar restaurant.
