The National Prize to the best Tapa from Cáceres already has five finalist

Organized by the Hotel Hospes Palacio Arenales & Spa in collaboration with the Academy of Gastronomy in Extremadura, Capital Cáceres of Gastronomy 2015 and the Denomination of Origin Cherry of the Jerte.

• The finalists are: Jorge Sánchez Mosquete, from the blog www.mosgourmet.net, with its “Gastrique de Picotas with parmentier of Ibores and Beef Chips”; Margarita Rodríguez Núñez, from www.acibecheria.blogspot.com.es, with its “Cherry potato”; Paula M. Durán Ros, from www.conlaszarpasenlamasa.es, with its “Samosa Extremadura stuffed with Iberian secret, Casar cake and Jerte cherries accompanied by the juice of a cherry jam”; Mª Sofía Martín de Nicolás Domínguez, from www.milideasmilproyectos.blogspot.com, with Carrillada of Ibérico with sauce, chutney of Picota del Jerte, Cake of Casar au gratin”; and Rosa María Pérez Blanco, from www.lospostresderosy.blogspot.com.es with “Volovanes from Iberian cheek to red wine with cherry-pickled jam”.

• The 4 of September will be announced the three winners and the 18 of september the contestants of the three winner tapas will pick up their prizes in the Hotel Palacio de Arenales (Cáceres) and will cook there their tapas along side with the professional chef.

Prizes

The three winning tapas will be different with the Awards of Cherry of Gold, Silver and Bronze, that will materialize in the following prizes:

-Cherry of Gold: Commemorative trophy + Transfer to and from the hotel on the day of the award on September 18 + Weekend (from 18 to 20 of september) with accommodation and breakfast for 2 pax in the hotel Hospes Palacio de Arenales & Spa ***** + Balinese Massage for 2 pax + Hydrothermal Circuit for 2 pax + the winning top will be included in the restaurant menu of the Hotel Hospes Palacio de Arenales “Las Corchuelas” for one month after the delivery of the prize + At Christmas a lot would be sent with products made with PICOTA DEL JERTE.

-Cherry of Silver: Commemorative trophy + Transfer to and from the hotel on the day of the award on September 18 + Weekend (from 18 to 20 of september) with accommodation and breakfast for 2 pax in the hotel Hospes Palacio de Arenales & Spa ***** + At Christmas a lot would be sent with products made with PICOTA DEL JERTE.

-Cherry of Bronze: Commemorative trophy + Transfer to and from the hotel on the day of the award on September 18 + Weekend (from 18 to 20 of september) with accommodation and breakfast for 2 pax in the hotel Hospes Palacio de Arenales & Spa ***** + At Christmas a lot would be sent with products made with PICOTA DEL JERTE.
